Siemens Actuator Servomotor SQM33 Series is an electromotoric actuator designed to drive and accurately position air dampers (Air Damper), gas dampers (Gas Damper), and oil control valves (Oil Control Valve) in oil and gas burner systems (Oil & Gas Burner). It features a stepper motor and an integrated position feedback system, delivering rated output torques from 1.2 to 10 Nm, depending on the model, with a maximum usable angular range of 90°. The actuator can be integrated with compatible Siemens LMV2 / LMV3 burner control units to adjust damper and valve positions according to burner load requirements and support electronic fuel/air ratio control.

Operating Principle

The Siemens SQM33 Series receives positioning commands from the burner control unit and drives the motor shaft to the specified position. Rotation direction, running time, and end positions can be configured through a compatible main control unit, such as Siemens LMV27. Its stepper motor and low-backlash gear train enable precise positioning of air dampers and fuel control valves. The actuator is suitable for combustion systems that require adjustment of air and fuel flow according to burner operating load.
